Recycling Personalizing

Helping others to revisit their understanding process involves building upon an “interchangeable base” to formulate and communicate personalized responses to meaning, problems, goals and changing feelings. Although we have used these same personalizing skills before, our responses are different each time we recycle the helping process. As helpers, we must stay “in tune” with the new issues that our helpees want and need to understand.
