Chapter 9

Overview of the Interview Process

Abstract

In this chapter, we review the various stages of the interview process and learn how to apply some of the tactical concepts discussed earlier in this book. You are encouraged to use these tactics to think about interviewing in new ways. There is an interplay among the stages, approaches, and intensity levels of the interview process. These categories take on more meaning as we proceed. Throughout an investigation, you will study, research, gather, and examine factual information that will help answer your questions.
