Abstract

The degree and nature of the authority vested in security management and investigations become matters of the greatest importance when such a function is fully integrated into the organization. Any evaluation of the scope and authority required by security investigations to perform effectively must consider a variety of factors, both formal and informal, that exist in the structure.
