Consolidating the Feedback

Most 360-degree feedback reports are data-rich, providing so much information that they often raise more questions than they answer. Before people can establish development targets and plans, therefore, they need to confirm their findings and finalize their assessments. As a means of consolidating their data, the first thing people need to do is make sense of the information they have and identify what they still need to find out. While there are many possible formats for accomplishing this, the one we have found most helpful is shown in Exhibit 8.1.2
