Debugging software can easily take as long as or longer than the development itself. Understanding the different ways to debug common problems can save a lot of time and effort. This chapter introduces the basic approach of debugging Android applications, and it examines the many tools available. First, the common Eclipse IDE debugging tools are discussed.
