How to seek value

Back in Chapter 3, Introducing Scrum to Your Software Team, we looked at product backlog definition and release planning and introduced a prioritization technique called Must have, Should have, Could have, Won't have (MoSCoW) as a quick way of prioritizing our backlog.

This technique, just like the buy a feature technique, aims to place value on features, often based on the Product Owner's gut instinct.

Buy a feature is a planning game where each feature is given a monetary value. Our stakeholders are given a pot of cash less than the total feature cost so that they are forced to prioritize features.
