Up to this point in the book we have alluded to the fact that many evaluators actually perform third-party program evaluations as a primary means of employment. Sometimes you might find yourself identified as the program/project evaluator for your own organization. These “jobs” are few and far between. Usually you are employed in some other aspect of your organization, and program evaluation is specified as one of your duties—probably because someone learned that you have program evaluation skills.
