Facilities manager

A facilities manager is responsible for the smooth and efficient running of a building and all the systems within it, eg security, health and safety, buildings maintenance, catering, cleaning, computer systems, office equipment, heating, air conditioning, etc. The facilities manager allows the business or organisation to get on with its core activity, whether that be providing healthcare, business consultancy, education, publishing or administration.
