Wilfrid Wood
Following his graduation from Central Saint Martins, London, Wilfrid Wood worked for the TV programme Spitting Image as a head builder (the satirical programme featured caricature puppets of public figures). Nowadays, Wilfrid does almost entirely commissioned or self-initiated 3D work, creating heads, figures and some lettering using polymer clay, aluminium armature wire, an airbrush and loads of sandpaper. The brief for the Amplify logo shown here was completely open-ended; they liked the lettering experiments Wilfrid had made for himself and wanted something similar.
