Open communication indicates everyone's input is important and respected. Open communication energizes people with the power of ideas. Skillful leaders know that feeling important, being respected, and creating energy motivate people.
Assess the current lines of communication. Find out when and how people feel that they are "out of the loop" or that communication is blocked.
