60. Use "World Class" as the Standard

Consider this simple reality. The average leader is, by definition, average. Average leaders are not really terrible and they are not really that great. Leader development efforts that focus on average ways to think and act result in average outcomes. Exceptional leaders do not direct others to be in "the average middle." They ratchet up their efforts to create worldclass winners.
