9. Seek 360-Degree Feedback

Those we label natural born leaders take feedback from all sources. They use all 360 degrees of input to evaluate their performance. They want to know how their boss views their efforts. They rely on peers for feedback on ways to improve. They listen to those outside their organization for ideas. They seek out subordinates to gain valuable insights. They realize that others may have been in the same place they are now so they use their experience to help them move forward. Eleanor Roosevelt once said, "Learn from the mistakes of others. You can't live long enough to make them all yourself."
