How to do it...

1. Connect to Teradata viewpoint using an admin account.
2. Open a workload designer portlet.
3. Unlock any ruleset and click on show.
4. Once in a ruleset, click on the Workloads tab on the ruleset window. You can also click on the Exception tab, under which you will see a list of exceptions on the system. But in this recipe, we will create a workload specific exception:

5. Once clicked, you can see the list of workloads on the system.
6. Click on any of the workloads under which you want to create an exception. 
7. Click on the Exceptions tab, as marked in the figure:
