Once the user is assigned to an account string, the usage of groups of users under similar account strings can be tracked and monitored. Account string is also used to map to workloads so that priorities for the user are assigned.
If your account starts with a $M, then you are running at a medium priority. $L is low and $H is high. To identify display account string of the current session execute the following query:
Select account;
