The following is the list of common terms used in the FastLoad script:
- LOGON: Logs in to Teradata and initiates one or more sessions.
- DATABASE: Sets the default database.
- BEGIN LOADING: Identifies the table to be loaded.
- SESSIONS: Number of sessions logged on with a LOGON command. Teradata Active System Management, TASM, enabled systems govern/supersede the number of sessions defined in this option.
- SLEEP: Minutes before the FastLoad retries a log on operation.
- TENACITY: Number of hours that FastLoad continues trying to log on when the maximum number of load jobs is already running on the Teradata Database.
