How to do it...

The following are the steps for aborting the session from the supervisor window:

  1. Log on to viewpoint.
  2. Open the remote console portlet.
  3. Log in to abort the host utility:
  1. Execute abort session command *.<username>.
  2. You can abort the session via username or using the session ID.
  3. A group of session IDs can be clubbed together to abort sessions:
                 <hostid>:<sessionno>                 <hostid>.<username>abort session *.<username> [logoff] [list] [override]                 <hostid>.*                 *.*
