How to do it...

Log in to Teradata viewpoint using an admin account.
Click on the tools icon in the upper right-hand corner, as shown in the screenshot:

An administrative window will open; click on Alert Setup, as shown in the following screenshot:

Next, we will click on Delivery Settings, which will help you to deliver alerts via email or store them in Teradata tables. In this recipe, we will set up email delivery. As highlighted in the figure, click on Delivery Settings | Email
