Creating and Saving Custom Templates
Visio 2002 provides a large assortment of Template themes to choose from. Like new Stencil files, Templates can be created to customize your workflow and ease of operations. Template files can be created with preformatting that is already done when it opens. Formatting Templates can consist of anything you can modify, such as the following:
Page orientation
Page size
Drawing scale
Foreground pages and names
Background pages and names
Stencils to open with the template
Any shapes or images that can be pre-placed on the template
