Including Visio Drawings in an E-mail Message with Outlook
Outlook has the ability to send Visio shape objects from the body of an e-mail message. This is a good opportunity to send and receive Visio shape and shape groups.
The criteria in Outlook are specific. You must have your message format setting to either the Microsoft Outlook Rich Text or the HTML format. Having the option to use Microsoft Word to edit e-mail messages checked on enables you to do this. The Plain Text message format does not work for this implementation.
To make necessary changes or to verify your Outlook message format, follow these steps:
