Information Sharing with Office Applications

Visio provides the same information sharing capabilities as other Microsoft Office applications. The ability to share other document sources from other applications is a profitable approach to creating and editing data from Visio, or Visio data from other Office applications. Information sharing can consist of three methods: static copying or movement of data, linking data from its source application, and embedding data into another application document.
