Changing the Default Formatting for Drawn Shapes

You can utilize a style for every new shape you draw by changing the default formatting and choosing the format style that you use most often.

Style One or more formats attributed to a shape. Styles can be a line, fill, text, or shadow to distinguish a shape.

By changing the default formatting, you can apply styles to the most used for your simple drawing shapes. You can change the default formatting for Text, Line, Fill, Shadow, or Rounded Corners. To change the default formatting for simple shapes, follow these steps:

  1. Ensure that no shapes are selected.

  2. On the Format menu, you can choose the formatting style to change. Click Text, Line, Fill, Shadow, or Corner Rounding.
