Saving for the Web in HTML
With widespread usage of the Web medium, Visio documents have the ability to be saved in Hypertext Markup Language (HTML) and Web ready image file format support, such as .GIF or .JPG. Once saved in an HTML format, documents are now ready to be opened in a Web browser locally, and are suitable to be published to a Web site or internal Intranet. To save a Visio document to a Web format in HTML:
Choose the File menu and select Save as Web Page…. The Save as dialog box appears with two additional buttons, Publish and Change Title.
