Understanding Notes Mobile Users

A mobile user is one who works in Notes while disconnected from the Notes network. You become a mobile user when you are working at a desktop computer from home or by using a laptop computer from a client site, a regional office, home, or hotel. As a mobile user, you can connect to the Notes network via a modem, instead of a LAN or WAN.
