Adding New Databases to the Workspace
As your company develops new databases for you to use, you must create new icons for accessing those databases. To create the icons, you must know the name of the database and its location (on which server and in which folder). It's likely that this information will be provided to you by your system administrator or application developers when new databases become available to you. When you need to access a new database, follow these steps:
From the Notes workspace, click the workspace page on which you want to add the database icon and choose, File, Database, Open from the menu. The Open Database dialog box appears (see Figure 12.1).
