Starting Access

There are several ways to start Access, depending on how you've installed it. The most straightforward way is to use the Start button. Follow these steps:

  1. Click the Start button. A menu appears.

  2. Highlight or point to Programs. A list of your program groups appears.

  3. Click on Microsoft Access. Access starts.

If you would prefer to have Access in a different program group, right-click the Start button, and select Explore. Then use the Explorer to find and move the Microsoft Access shortcut to a different program group.
