Changing the Gridline Display
To change to vertical gridlines (or a combination of horizontal and vertical) or to display minor gridlines, this is what you do:
Click the chart. Then open the Chart menu and select Chart Options. The Chart Options dialog box appears.
Click the Gridlines tab.
Select the gridlines you want to display. Your selections appear in the sample area so you can see how they'll look.
Click OK.
