Selecting a Chart Part
A chart is made up of several independent objects. For example, a chart may have a title, a legend, and various data series. Before you can add enhancements to a chart, you must first select the part of the chart you want to change. To do that, simply click that part or select it from the Chart Objects box on the Chart toolbar. (To display the Chart toolbar, open the View menu, select Toolbars, and select Chart.) When a part is selected, handles (tiny black squares) form a box around it, as shown in Figure 23.1.
