Moving Data

Moving data is similar to copying except that the data is removed from its original place and placed in the new location.

To move data, follow these steps:

  1. Select the cells you want to move.

  2. Click the Cut button.

  3. Select the first cell in the area where you would like to place the data. To move the data to another worksheet, change to that worksheet.

  4. Click Paste.
