Scrolling Through a Worksheet with the IntelliMouse
If you've installed the new Microsoft IntelliMouse (introduced with Excel 97), you can use it to move through a worksheet even more quickly than you can with a conventional mouse. Here's how:

| Scroll a few rows | Rotate the wheel in the middle of the mouse forward or back. |
| Scroll faster (pan) | Click and hold the wheel button, and then drag the mouse in the direction in which you want to pan (scroll quickly). The further away from the origin mark (the four-headed arrow) you drag the mouse, the faster the panning action. To slow the pan, drag the mouse back towards the origin mark. |
| Pan without holding | To pan without holding the wheel button down, simply click once, and then move the mouse ... |
