Coproducts Generated from Biomass Conversion Processes
Abstract
The necessity of the biomass polygeneration mode is discussed in this chapter, along with the current problems surrounding the exploitation of biomass materials. Four platforms around key bonding technologies are given to show the feasibility of polygeneration. Meanwhile, this chapter also displays specific examples of clean production, ecological industry, and the recycling economy to support the concept of polygeneration. Biomass-based products from the low-carbon economy are provided by biochemical transformation.
