Time Prior to Opening	Event	Definition
16 weeks	Director’s Written Concept Statement	At the first production meeting for each show, the director shall present a prepared, written concept statement to the production staff. This may include anything that he/she feels will aid in the understanding of the concept. The designers take this information and begin work toward an initial design, in ongoing meetings with the director and project advisors they progress to their final product.
