Enhance WordPress with Plugins

There are a myriad of plugins available for self-hosted WordPress blogs that can be found at http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins or by searching through the Plugins menu.
Install Plugins
To install plugins, you can download, unzip, and upload them to your wp-content/plugins folder on the server, then activate them in the Plugins section of your WordPress administrative interface.
Alternatively, if your web server has write access to the wp-content/plugins folder, you can install them by following these simple steps:
