Level: 2

Definition: A data structure (sometimes called a container) that conforms to specific templates, classes, and rules. For example, an HTML page may contain a video “object” accessed via a hot-link to initiate a streaming video file transfer. Generally, “objects” refer to different types of elements developers may incorporate into documents, databases, programs, or other software, especially pertaining to reusable software routines.
