Did you ever think about the real cost of a team meeting? Multiply the average hourly wage of attendees by the number of people attending the meeting. Then multiply that by the length of the meeting in hours. For example, when a team of ten members with an average wage of $20 per hour meets for 2 hours, the total cost is $400 (10 x $20 x 2).

Estimate the cost of your last meeting. And by the way, that cost does not include the cost of production time that was lost because people had to attend the meeting. Was the value of the meeting equal to its cost?
