The behavior and actions of managers and, specifically, team leaders, can be critical in establishing a climate of trust. Let’s get specific. As a follow-up to the previous exercise, Leadership Trust, consider what can you, as a leader, do to grow a trustbased culture?
Look at yourself. What are you doing to be a role model of trust? Start by modeling the behavior you seek. Openly express your point of view and, more important, be open to the ideas of members, especially those that differ with you.
