Don’t Forget Support Teams

One of the potential downsides of a project team award is that many people on support teams or in other ancillary roles feel left out and unappreciated. They are not ongoing members on the official team roster, but they make important and sometimes significant contributions to a team's success. They may provide data, develop the training plan, implement the field tests of the new product or system, create the marketing plan, or any number of other tasks without which the team could not get its work done in a timely and quality fashion.
