CHAPTER 7

Adding Links

Are you ready to start adding links to your web pages? This chapter shows you how to create links in your HTML5 documents to allow users to jump to other websites or to other pages within your own site. You learn how to add e-mail links and control the appearance of links. You also get an introduction to URLs, which are the web addresses that define the destinations of your links. Links are created using <a> "tags in combination with the href attribute.
