9.1. Introducing Frames

Frames enable you to divide a Web page into multiple sections and display different pages in each frame.

Although frames are no longer recommended for most sites, they are still used on the Web, and Dreamweaver includes a special feature set for working with them. You can create links in one frame and have the links open their destination pages in another frame.
