12.12. Create an External Style Sheet

External style sheets enable you to define a set of style sheet rules and then apply them to many different pages — even pages on different Web sites. This enables you to keep a consistent appearance across many pages and to streamline formatting and style updates.

Create an External Style Sheet

Note: Make sure that the CSS Styles panel is open. Click Window and then click CSS Styles if it is not.

Press +(+).

The New Document dialog box appears.

Click Blank Page.

Click CSS.

Click Create.
