Chapter 4. Logging and Searching for Photos
An important aspect of how iPhoto makes it easier to manage large numbers of imported photos is through its logging and searching capabilities. Properly logging photos with descriptive names, providing ratings, flagging images, and adding keywords enables you to more efficiently search an iPhoto Library that contains many photographs. iPhoto offers a number of searching mechanisms to quickly find your photos, including searching by date, keyword, rating, location, or even by person.
