3.9. Add Locations Using Places

When you import a photo from a GPS-enabled camera into iPhoto, iPhoto imports the location data and maps it automatically. If your camera does not have GPS capability, you can manually add a location to your photos. Places enables you to conveniently browse and organize photos based on the location in which they were taken.

NOTE

iPhoto requires an internet connection to view the Places maps.
