View a Journal Entry

You can easily view a journal entry in order to review related activities. To view a journal entry, you must first switch to Journal view in Outlook; one way to do so is to click Go and then Journal. Another is to click the Journal button at the bottom of the navigation pane.

View an Entry from within Journal

Click the Journal button () at the bottom of the navigation pane to switch to Journal view. Outlook displays your journal entries on a timeline.

Right-click the entry you want to open.
3.
Click Open. Outlook opens the journal entry in its own window.

View an Entry from within Contacts

1.
Click the Contacts button in the navigation pane to switch to Contacts view.
2.
Double-click the contact whose journal entries you want to see. Outlook opens the contact in its own window.
