Unsubscribe from a Feed

You may find that a particular feed is not as interesting or useful as you would like. To prevent Outlook from wasting resources by downloading and storing posts from this feed, you can unsubscribe from it.

Unsubscribe from a Feed

Delete the Feed and all Downloaded Posts

1.
Double-click the RSS Feeds folder in the folder list.
2.
Right-click the folder for the feed you want to remove.
3.
Click Delete name of feed in the menu that appears. Outlook prompts you to confirm the deletion.
4.
Click Yes.

Outlook removes the feed and deletes all downloaded posts.

Delete the Feed but Retain all Downloaded Posts

1.
Click Tools.
2.
Click Account Settings.

The Account Settings dialog box appears.
3.
Click the RSS Feeds tab.
4.
Click the feed you want to remove.
5.
Click Remove. Outlook prompts you to confirm the deletion.
6.
Click Yes.
7.
Click Close ...
