Most presentation slides combine a slide title, slide text in the form of a bulleted list or table, and graphic elements. The slide layout that you select determines where the title, text, and graphics will appear. You can create a presentation quickly using the available slide layouts.

Types of Slide Layouts The layout gallery enables you to choose the slide layout to use for a slide. The gallery offers layouts that hold text only.
