2.2. Save a Presentation

After you create a presentation and have added text or other content, you should save the presentation to ensure you are able to use it later. Saving a PowerPoint file works much like saving any other Office program file: You need to specify the location in which to save the file and give the file a name.

With a presentation, you also have the option to package it as a self-running presentation and save it to a CD-R or other media. Learn more about this in Chapter 11.
