Display a Location on a Map
You can use the Maps app to display a location on a map. Maps is a Windows 8 app that displays digital maps that you can use to view just about any location by searching for an address or place name.
When you first start the Maps app, Windows 8 asks if it can turn on location services, which are background features that help determine your current location and offer this information to apps such as Maps. For the best results with Maps, you should allow Windows 8 to turn on location services.
