Navigate the Pictures Library
Before you can work with your images, you need to view them on your tablet. You do that by using the Photos app to open the Windows 8 Pictures library, which is a special folder designed specifically for storing images.
To get more out of the Pictures library, you need to know the basic techniques for opening any albums that you have stored in it. If you want to view your Facebook or Flickr albums in Windows 8, see the section “View Your Facebook Photos” or “View Your Flickr Photos” later in this chapter.
Navigate the Pictures Library
On the Start Screen, tap Photos.
The Photos app loads.
Tap Pictures library ...
