Update an App
You can ensure that you are using the latest version of an app by using the Windows Store to install an available update.
After a software company releases an app, its programmers continue to work on it. They add new features, improve existing features, fix problems, and close security holes. After fully testing these improvements and fixes, they place the new version of the app in the Windows Store, which alerts you that there is an update. You can then install the new version.
