Create an App Folder in Launchpad

You can make Launchpad easier to work with by combining two or more icons into a single storage area called an app folder. OS X Mountain Lion displays the Launchpad icons in up to five rows per screen, with up to seven icons in each row, so you can have as many as 35 icons in each Launchpad screen. Also, if you have configured your Mac with a relatively low display resolution, you might see only partial app names in the Launchpad screens.

All of this can make it difficult to locate the app you want. However, by creating app folders, you can organize similar apps and reduce the clutter on the Launchpad screens.
