Open and Close Calendar

Your Mac comes with the Calendar application to enable you to manage your schedule. Calendar enables you to create and work with events, which are either scheduled appointments such as meetings, lunches, and visits to the dentist, or all-day activities, such as birthdays, anniversaries, or vacations. You can also use Calendar to send event invitations and to accept or decline any event invitations that you receive.

Before you can add or work with events (appointments, meetings, all-day activities, and so on), and before you can send or accept event invitations, you must know how to start the Calendar application.
